Rails Testing For Zombies - Code School Course
Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM (EST)
Orlando, United States
You must be AT Envy Labs in Orlando, Florida to attend this.
This month at the Orlando Ruby Users Group we will be Beta testing Code School's new course Rails Testing for Zombies. Picking up where Rails for Zombies 2 left off, we'll teach you about unit testing, Rails model testing, stubbing, mocking, and integration testing. We'll even touch on libraries like Shoulda and Capybara which make it (dare I say) pleasurable to write tests for Ruby on Rails.
As we do with all our courses, we like to invite people into our office to play through it and get their feedback. For more information on the course see the blog post here.
This course will be held AT Envy Labs downtown from 6:30 PM to 10 PM, directions here: http://bit.ly/envylabs
Free dinner will be served at 6:30 PM and the course will start at 7 PM. You'll need to be familiar with the basics of CSS to take this course.
Participants will be required to bring their own laptops, headphones, and power cords, but they will receive the course free and be the first to get the achievements / prizes for completing the course.
